Joe Murphy is a master pastry chef with over 30 years in the baking and pastry business. At an early age, Joe starting working in a local bakery in Brooklyn. After graduating the Culinary Institute of America he started working under chefs like David Burke, Gray Kunz, Alfred Portale, and Jean-Georges Vongeritchen. While working for Jean-Georges he was awarded Top 10 Pastry Chefs in the country as well as earning 4 stars in The New York Times and 3 Michelin Stars. After Jean-Georges he has worked as global pastry director for Dean and Deluca. In 2020, Joe competed on Chopped Sweets and became a Chopped Champion.
